Past

Past

Sunnylands is the home of The Annenberg Foundation Trust. The property was owned by Mr. and Mrs. Annenberg as a winter retreat. Due to the historic figures who have spent their time on the property, the city of Rancho Mirage has declared Sunnylands a historic site. The campus is considered the "Camp David of the West" as guests such as Presidents Eisenhower, Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Clinton, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush and Barack Obama have all visited the estate.

Present

Present

Sunnylands is currently host to one main building and a nine hole golf course. While this arrangement has been sufficient for years, The Annenberg Foundation Trust has grown. Thus, the organization looks to grow with the addition of four new buildings on campus.

Future

Future

The Annenberg Foundation Trust aims to not only avoid leaving a negative environmental impact through construction of the new facilities, but they intend to make a positive impact on their surroundings through innovative and conscious design strategies.
